A Light In the Gallery

Still, Michaelangelo's imagination

Decorates the walls of unbelievers

With wretched sketches

Which admirers believe

As though they were of the

Real thing

As I stumble through the darkened gallery

I step on a portrait of Christ

Amused, I sing.
